MARIA-LOURDES BABASASA
LOUMA (pseudonym of Maria Lourdes Babasasa) is a self-taught French artist. Born in Equatorial Guinea, but of Spanish descent (preserving the line). She spent her childhood in Guinea, Nigeria and Spain (historically, Equatorial Guinea was a Spanish colony).
As a teenager, she raised her family in France in the late 1980s. The search for identity is the central theme: getting to know each other, accepting and finding your place around.
Inspired by cubism, symbolism, naive art to create a dialogue with youth (its true inspiration).
Although she turned away, she quickly became interested in digital art as an artist, focusing on the creative aspect.
Today, she is increasingly moving towards creativity in the field of artificial intelligence, which inspires her to produce works inspired by contemporary artists.
