JUAN GONZÁLEZ IGLESIAS
Juan González Iglesias lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
Juan was born and lives in Madrid, Spain. He started his career as an advertising creative, for many main brands, and a coolhunter, spotting trends. At age 29 he experimented what they called enlightenment and from that moment he couldn't stop painting. His big passions, art and spirituality, came to the surface and they started to grow up as they couldn't until that moment. They couldn't be developed for many reasons, the environment wasn't proper for them. But life finds its way, as they say in Jurassic Park.
Since his passion to that date was pop culture of every kind, he started to mix it with his new spiritual discoveries. He used to think that pop culture drove him to enlightenment so he thought it could be a nice way for anyone, specially new generations, which are so attached to this type of culture.
After about 14 years of following an spiritual path meanwhile the art was growing with it as the same thing, he reached a point of conclusion. That stage of the spiritual journey was over and the art landed in a certain way. It shows the hidden realms that he found in hid trip. Realms that surround us but most of the people are not aware of.
The artwork shows these realms, full of colour and joy, where the spirit is absolutely free. He found this frequency of existence and his art tries to bring it down to earth so people can be aware of it.
Because of the very nature of the topic, the style is completely abstract at this point. It speaks about something that only can be found by pure intuition and spiritual hard work.
He hopes this can help the world to rise its vibration to a higher level, and now that's more needed than ever.
