DAPHNA LASZLO-KATZOR
Daphna Laszlo-Katzor lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Daphna Laszlo-Katzor began engaging in ceramic sculpture in 1990.
Daphna’s sculptures all dwell in the realm of surrealism, which serves to accurately convey the story of her life. The majority of them are figurative, whilst others showcase still life, plants, and animals. The inspiration for the characters in her works is derived from processes taking place in the life of the artist, as well as personal experiences. Accordingly, recurring references to the feminine character, the masculine character, and the relationship between the two are evident.
